About the Presenter

Dr. Dan Guernsey serves as Associate Professor of Education and Director of the M.Ed. in Catholic Educational Leadership program at Ave Maria University. With over 35 years in Catholic education, he has served 16 years as a Catholic school principal and 24 years with Ave Maria programs. Dr. Guernsey earned his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.

As a Senior Fellow at the Cardinal Newman Society, he helped develop the Catholic Curriculum Standards, used by 1,235 schools and 36 dioceses. His scholarship focuses on Catholic school identity and academic standards. He is married to Lisa with six children and grandchildren.
